Arjan Brouwer celebrates 20 years of service

Today, our colleague Arjan Brouwer is celebrating his 20-year work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Arjan works as Logistic Support Air & Ocean employee within our Forwarding business unit.

In this role, Arjan handles all air and sea freight requests and the entire import and export process. In doing so, he is in daily contact with various partners around the world, including agents, air freight carriers, and shipping companies.

Last year, Arjan obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate, and he regularly applies the method in his work, particularly regarding complex air and sea freight requests.

“By using the DMAIC model, I can investigate these requests in detail together with my colleagues,” says Arjan. “We then develop multiple solutions. In doing so, we also achieve structural process improvements.”
