Partnering

By partnering with various regional sports clubs Oldenburger|Fritom shows its commitment to society at large. Everyone can participate in sports, making it a vital part of our sponsoring policy. Besides financial support, we invest time and energy in stimulating physical wellbeing and a healthy and vital lifestyle. We do this specifically for children and young people in the Northern Netherlands. In doing so, we have partnered with the following sports clubs in the Dutch provinces of Groningen and Drenthe:

FC Emmen

With a branch in the Dutch city of Emmen, Oldenburger|Fritom has been a partner of the Dutch football club FC Emmen for many years, sponsoring both the youth academy and the Girls Under-17 team. Additionally, we are a partner of the FC Emmen Naoberschap Foundation, the community department of the professional football club.

Top Dutch Solar Racing

Top Dutch Solar Racing is a student team from the Northern Netherlands. During 2019, this team participated in the World Solar Challenge in Australia, for the first time. The team gained a well-deserved fourth place and was awarded the Excellence in Engineering Award. Oldenburger|Fritom is proud to call itself the logistic partner of this team. We take care of all transportation and logistics processes of their self-built solar-powered car.

FC Groningen

The foundation of the football club FC Groningen, the FC Groningen in Society Foundation, wants to combat lack of exercise in the catchment area of the club. Together with partners, including Oldenburger|Fritom, the importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle is promoted.
